We recently asked PAs in Missouri to complete a survey, and we
want to thank you for your input. To view the results of
the survey please click here.
Representing PAs before the Missouri legislature and the Board of
Healing Arts is an important part of MOAPA’s mission. MOAPA
works hard to improve the laws and regulations that govern the practice
of PAs and to provide PAs' input on a range of other health care
legislation. For the past several years, MOAPA has worked to change
Missouri's laws on physician supervision of PAs. We seek laws that
ensure appropriate supervision of PAs while giving Physician/PA teams
the flexibility they require to meet patient needs. MOAPA will only be
successful with the active participation of PAs and PA supporters from
around the state. This page provides you with information on MOAPA's
legislative efforts and gives some resources to help you get involved.
Please feel free to contact MOAPA’s Legislative Coordinator for more
information on our legislative activities.
